Final blog post for this semester!

Hey guys! For this final week, I will be talking about a game series that I have been playing ever since I was in middle school... Call of Duty! I especially love the Black Ops franchise. This game has a lot of different main story lines because there are different companies that help develop it, and that is why there are different stories that branch out. Call of Duty, more specifically, Black Ops II is a staple in the entire franchise for how multiplayer shooters should be! Rewarding and addictive, this game has given me many fond memories with my friends on the nights we would stay up playing, and how competitive we were between each other, and who is the best (which was obviously me). The main story line in this game continues from Black Ops I where you play as Alex Mason in an attempt to foil Cuba's missile plans during the Cold War. Black Ops II picks up where it left off by playing as Alex's son, David and a new threat in a warlord Raul Menendez. Even with the game'

Hello everyone and thanks for reading my blog! This week I'm going to be talking about one of my favorite games, Minecraft! If you don't know what Minecraft is, it is a survival game where you are put into this world with nothing, and you're free to do whatever you want! You can gather resources to build houses, go exploring in caves, fight monsters, etc. I have been playing Minecraft ever since it came out. The game gives you so much freedom it is hard to get bored! Honestly, some nights I'll play with my friends and just lose track of time and end up playing way later than I am supposed to. If for some reason you do get bored in just crafting and building your shelter, you can go and find an online server to play with people and friends! Lots of servers have mini games you can play, like Block Hunt, where there are hiders who can disguise themselves as objects, and seekers who set out to find them, Skywars, where you are pit against other players to become t

Hey guys! Thanks for reading my blog again! And if you haven't read my blog before this, welcome! This week I will be blogging about the game that got me into MMORPG s, or M assively  M ultiplayer  O nline  R ole  P laying  G ame. I have been playing this game on and off ever since I was six years old! Runescape is a free online experience where you are put in this medieval world filled with magic, monsters and wonder, and are completely free to do as you please! You can be a great warrior, fighting against other players or against monsters. Or, you could be a great skiller, where you can level up and focus on skills besides combat, like woodcutting, construction, fishing, etc. There is also a free to play versions and member versions. Usually everyone joins and plays F2P (free 2 play) first and if they chose to purchase membership for a certain amount of months, you gain access to a lot more of the world around! It is worth the price if you put the time in but as college student

Super Smash Bros Ultimate

Hey everyone! This week I will be talking about a game series I recently discovered and joined, the Super Smash Bros Series, and the most recent installment, Super Smash Bros Ultimate! I don’t have a whole lot this week to say because I’m a greenie the series, but this game is a lot of fun! SSBU is different from other fighting games I’ve played. For example, more free movement and faster gameplay due to the bigger, more open, maps, and the damage system. The damage system is based off of percentages. Each player starts off at 0%, and everytime you get hit, the percentage increases based off of a different gameplay elements like what type of attack, were you blocking, etc. The higher the percentage, the more distance you are sent flying when you are hit. If you get hit back far enough, you can knocked off the screen and lose a life, or stock. This is definitely an interesting mechanic because it creates such a different gameplay versus more static fighting games like Mortal Kombat. T

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy (Remake)

Hello everyone! This week I will be talking about a new game I picked up recently for my Nintendo Switch! It is one that I hold close to my heart and fills me with nostalgia and excitement because I played the original so often when I was a kid. Crash Bandicoot is a 3D platformer originally developed by Naughty Dog Studios, but the remake was developed by Vicarious Visions and produced by Activision. Vicarious Visions did such a great job remaking the original trilogy that I got goosebumps and memories of me playing the original! The funniest part, for me, was looking at the updated graphics and thinking it looked very similar to the original graphics but when I actually looked up the difference, it was night and day. I guess that the graphics back then were just very updated compared to other games and due to my previous knowledge, and seeing as I was only 6 it was not very much, it looked amazing, haha! The controls are very simple. You have the ability to jump, which is map

Hello everybody! My name is Joselito, but you can call me Jose for short! Thanks for reading my blog on video games! I wanted to make this blog to talk about video games that I have found interesting recently, but first, a little but of background on me. I have been very passionate about video games ever since I was a little kid. I started when I was five years old and my oldest and most fond memory of playing on the original xbox and playing Spyro who was this small purple dragon that you had to play as. I grew up on xbox and playing PC games. This week I really wanted to talk about this game I had just finished on my Nintendo Switch, Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild!  Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, or LoZ BotW for short, is an open-world rpg with such an amazing story, it had me in my feels a couple of times and I consider myself to be a pretty concrete person, in terms of my feelings. The whole point of the game is to save Hyrule from this sort of monster known as Cal
